The CAB website lists a huge amount of CE topics to choose from. Very few of them deal with the art of community acupuncture. It’s pretty different! Join us and together we’ll talk about community acupuncture, in person, at one of our lovely clinics.
On Wednesday, Sept. 18th, 9 am to 1 pm, at the Grand Ave. clinic, 3535 Grand Ave. (Door Code is 4-2-1 Enter), in Oakland, in person. $50
How to Work in, Open, and Run a Community Acupuncture Clinic
Community Acupuncture is committed to making acupuncture accessible to regular people with ordinary income while creating a sustainable business model and providing stable jobs to acupuncturists. The objective of this course is to give instruction in the operations of running a community acupuncture business to achieve these goals. We will also discuss the elements needed for opening and running a community clinic: systems that help a clinic run smoothly, being a fair and competent employer, understanding the business model’s start up costs, ongoing costs, and earnings, basic logistics of working in a community clinic, and knowing the how, where and why of opening your own community acupuncture clinic.
This is a Category 2 class (CAB has a 5 hour limit on those if you want credit).
